Most people land in Malaga airport and then head to their resort town. Depending on where you are there are a variety of activities to keep you busy and smiling on your holidays. All along the coast line, in each town, you will find great watersport activities, windsurfing, paddle boats, jet skis, water parks, mini golf courses. You can go out on a boat or a catamaran for a day, often Dolphin watching or on a fishing trip. There is usually a great selection of restaurants and bars on offer in each resort to help you enjoy the nightlife. You could also go on a day trip to Gibraltar where you can visit the Saint Michael caves or meet the Barbary macaque monkeys or stroll around the shops.
Road Trips
Driving in the Costa Del Sol gives you 150kms of coastline to explore with beautiful beach, small fishing villages, larger resorts and attractions all over. Ronda is a lovely day trip only an hour north of Marbella with the Plaza de Toros Maestranza, the bull fighting museum and the town square. En route you will see the El Tajo Gorge under the Puente Neuvo Bridge. For day trips, head to the Axaruqia region for the most beautiful villages in Spain. Visit Malaga city, for the Picasso Museum and eat out by the port. Head further east of Malaga city to the less touristy side of the Costa and find Nerja, which is growing in popularity and is also home to the Nerja Caves.
