Getting there & Away

Many churches in Thessaloniki are UNESCO world heritage sites and for a really special one, visit the Saint Nicolaos Orfano church built on an ancient Roman Temple dedicated to Zeus. It is has amazing frescos and a Rotunda where you can walk on sections of the old city wall which leads to the White Tower. To get outside of the city and see more of Northern Greece, then we would recommend Chalkidiki or Halkidiki.
