Getting there & Away
If you are not looking for a hire car to get you easily around, then public transport is your next choice, but remember that in Greece, public transport is not always great. From Thessaloniki you will be able to get to the city and to some local towns. To get a bus from Thessaloniki airport then go outside the arrivals area and catch the number 78 bus, they run every half hour and will take you to the city centre.
