Manises Airport or Valencia airport is located 8kms away from the city of Valencia in the town of Manises. The airport is superbly located right beside the Autovia A3 which connects Valencia with Madrid and the airport is also not far from the coastal road which goes to Barcelona (Autovia A7). Valencia is a Ryanair hub, with two planes based permanently from the airport going to ten locations in Europe. It previously had more planes and locations, however there have been disputes over subsidies between them and the airport authorities, which resulted in them cutting back the number of routes.
