The International Airport in Geneva is officially called Genève Aéroport and was previously known as Cointrin Airport. It is located about 4kms from the city of Geneva and is a very popular airport due to its proximity to Geneva, but also because of its very central location providing excellent access to all of Switzerland but also to a lot of neighboring locations including Lyon in France which is only an hour and a half away or Turin in Italy which is only two and a half hours away. Passengers coming through Geneva airport are business people, tourists and in winter large numbers of skiers and snowboarders on their way to enjoy the slopes and après ski of the Alps.

Car Hire brands in Geneva include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Firefly and Sixt, and Car Booker compares the prices, offer and discounts that all these providers have available and we select the best car hire deals, so that you can pick which one suits you best. Important to note, always use Geneva Airport Switzerland for your booking unless you are flying from France (you land in French Sector (Pier F)). And Cars picked up in the Swiss sector must be dropped off in the Swiss sector, otherwise they will charge you a fee.
