Larnaca and Paphos are the two main airports on the island of Cyprus. Paphos is on the south west of the island. Larnaca airport is only 4kms from the city of Larnaca and once you get there you are right on the beach, which is pretty sweet. Getting there & away
Many people travelling to Larnaca do so as part of a package holiday and so they have transport included in their package. Others prefer to experience more of the island and rent a car. If neither of these two options are for you, then you will need to get a bus, a shuttle or a taxi. Public transport is not the airports best feature; there is a regular bus running from Larnaca airport to Nicoisa and Limassol. There are also private shuttle services available that go to Larnaca or Limassol – Resort Hoppa also works from Larnaca airport. Taxis are also available and it is recommended that you book in advance, these cost about $17 to Ayia Napa.
