More About Rhodes Airport
Airport Car Rental
Car rental is a big business in Rhodes airport with tourists looking to make the most of their holiday by seeing all the island has on offer. There are a number of very well-known car rental providers as well as some Greek car rental agencies operating from Rhodes airport. Car Booker works with these car rental providers and compares the prices and deal that they have on offer to ensure you can pick the best deal for you. Car Booker works with Alamo, Auto Union, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Holiday Autos, Olympic Car Rentals and Sixt. You can find the rental desks in the arrivals hall, but it is better to book your rental car before you get there as it can get pretty busy, especially in summer.
Getting there & Away
Unless you are on a charter flight with transfers included, you will need to organise to get your destination. We recommend car rental as the best way to see Rhodes, however, if you want to get public transport then you can take the bus. There is a bus stop outside the terminal and another local bus stop 300 meters from the airport, departures are frequent to the Rhodes and to some other small towns. Less buses run at the weekends. Taxi can be hired from the Taxi Station, but like car rental, if you are travelling in peak months, it is recommended to book in advance to avoid queues. Taxis are dark blue with white roofs with the word TAXI written on top.
