Geneva International Airport,
was previously known as Cointrin Airport and its official name is Genève Aéroport. It is a major airport in Europe due to its central location and excellent onward transport facilities within Switzerland and easy access to neighbouring France (Lyon; 1 hour 30 minutes) and Italy (Turin; 2 hours, 30 minutes). Getting there & Away
The airport is 4km from the centre of Geneva, its is easily reached by train or bus using the local Unireso system.
